Obituary

WEBSTER: Clyde Norton “Chuck” Grey, Jr., 58, died peacefully and comfortably in the care if his family on February 18, 2014 at his residence in Webster following a courageous and dignified battle with Metastatic Melanoma.
He was born in Natick on May 23, 1955 the son of the late Clyde N. Grey, Sr. and Emma Olive (Dunham) Grey.
Chuck is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Maureen D. (Arsenault) Grey of Webster. Beloved father of Christopher N. Grey of Allston; Curtis H. Grey and his wife Korey Dabrowski of Rocky Hill, CT; Madison D. Grey, LCP, United States Marine Corp of Webster and Kelsey E. Grey of Webster. Also survived by his sisters Ms. Janet Edson of Chatham and Ms. Nancy Ouellette of Rye, NH, sisters-in-law Linda Halloran and her husband Stephen Halloran of Milton, N.H. and Kathie Maker and her husband Frank Maker, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL as well as several nieces and nephews.
Chuck has been a resident of Webster for over 27 years and spent his formative and earlier years in Natick. He graduated from Natick High School with the Class of 1973. He received his BS in Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Boston with the Class of 1977. For three years, he was a lead architect and designer for L. Grignafini and Sons of Wellesley and for several years in the same position with Carlson in Wayland. In 1993, Chuck and his longtime friend and partner Joseph Onorato, Founded and served as President of Newbury Design Associates, Inc. in Framingham. Chuck was an experienced boater and snow skier which he loved to do with his family. He had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. He was devoted to his wife and children who were the center of his life. Chuck was a friend to everyone he met and always had a kind word, was always supportive of his children and had a perpetual smile. He will be greatly missed by all of the lives that he touched in his 58 years.
Visitations will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:15 am followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin’s Church, 99 Main St (Rte 27), Wayland.
At the request of his family interment will be private at a later date.
