Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy H. (Maloney) Graham a resident of Amesbury for the past year, formerly of Andover and beloved wife of the late Frederick J. Graham, died at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on Monday evening, February 17, 2014. She was 85 years old.
Born in Newton, Massachusetts, on February 15, 1929, she was the beloved daughter of the late William J. and Florence (Fischer) Maloney. Dorothy was a graduate of Newton High School and was employed by R.H. Stearn's Department Stores. She was also employed, for many years, by Macartney's in Andover. In her spare time, Dorothy enjoyed playing golf and always loved to walk and read. She also enjoyed knitting and spent her summers at Hampton Beach. Above all, Dorothy loved spending time with her family and friends.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Jacqui and her husband Jack Kennedy of Hampton, New Hampshire, Frederick J. “Rick” Graham and his girlfriend Brenda K. Hardy, both of Byfield and Constance E. and her husband Bruce A. Harris of Amesbury, siblings; Phillip and Eugene T. Maloney, both of Florida and Florence Anderson of West Newton, grandchildren; Morgan and Brady Harris, dear friends; Gloria Callahan and Ruth Driscoll and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William and Walter Maloney.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Friday, February 21, 2014, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be privately held.
