Jimmie Lee Hydrick
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, February 18, 2014, Mrs. Jimmie Lee Anderson Hydrick, 87, loving wife of the late Louie C. Hydrick.
Mrs. Hydrick was born in Lakeland, FL. She moved to Augusta and graduated from Tubman High Women’s School. She was a newspaper courier for the Augusta Herald. She was an avid square dancer. Mrs. Hydrick was a member of Richmond Reelers, and founding member of Augusta Twirlers, and a member of Abilene Baptist Church.
Family members include son: Louie Bert Hydrick of Evans, GA; daughter: Bonnie Frothingham (Robert) of Evans, GA; and grandchildren: Kevin and Jason Frothingham. She is preceded in death by her brothers: Charles E. Anderson and Howard T. Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Terry Doss officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sunday School Class led by Emory Sayer
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Abilene Baptist Church Music Fund, 3917 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30907.
