Obituary

Henry --- Patricia “Trisha” of Roslindale/West Roxbury passed away February 17, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Despite a terminal cancer diagnosis, Trisha defied the odds and continued to enjoy life until her last day. She loved music, good food, swimming and scary movies. She taught four generations of her extended family to celebrate and embrace people with different abilities. She will be deeply missed.

Beloved daughter of the late Ralph F. (Ret. BPD) and Martha G. (Taylor) Henry of Roslindale. Loving sister of Carolyn and Joe Kostigen, Jimmy and Kathy Henry, Ralph and Denise Henry Jr., Barbara Henry, and Billy Henry (BPD) all of Roslindale/West Roxbury. Also survived and very much loved by nine nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury on Friday, Feb. 21st at 9:00AM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name Church at 10:00AM, followed by internment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00PM. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate Trisha’s life.

Graduate of Hyde Park High School, former pre-vocational employee of Goodwill Industries, client of West Roxbury Day Habilitation, participant in Special Olympics and long-time camper with Camp Joy and Camp Fatima. The Henry family is deeply grateful for the care and friendship Trisha received by the staff and residents of Resources for Human Development, Inc. (Park and Lagrange Street residences), and North Shore Hospice.
