DASCHER, Kenneth W., of Winthrop, February 16, 2014. Beloved husband of Arlene M. DeRosa Dascher. Cherished son of the late John and Elizabeth (Simon) Dascher. Devoted father of Kenneth W. Dascher and Jamie Gaffney of FL, Christopher W. Dascher of Philadelphia, PA, Katharine A. Dascher Walker and her husband Stephen Walker of Malden, Jennifer L. Heller and her husband Joseph of Havertown, PA, George R. Ultrino and his wife Diane of Methuen, and Kris A. Ultrino of Woburn and his daughter-in-law Caroline Dascher of MD. Also survived by his loving and cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Dear brother of Dr. John J. “Jack” Dascher of PA and Alice H. Clark and her husband Bill of NJ. Visiting hours will be held at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Thurs. Feb. 20, from 9-11am. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home beginning at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited. Cremation to follow will be private. Final disposition of his urn will be held at the Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden on Monday. Kenneth was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a police officer for the City of Philadelphia. He was a member of the Revere 2nd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints.
