Mr. Joseph E. Gamache, of Taunton, died Monday, February 17 in the Golden Living Center – Wedgemere, following a period of failing health. He was born 68 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph N. and Florence A. (Dufresne) Gamache. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed carpenter for many years. Joe enjoyed building models, boating and riding his motorcycle. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
He leaves: 1 brother: Richard Gamache of Berkley; 1 sister: Pauline J. Rose of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Friday, February 21 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
