Leonard, Liberta M. (Piacentini) 93 of Plymouth, MA and Palm Beach Gardens FL passed away at home on February 16. Wife of the late Joseph T. Leonard, she leaves three children: daughter Maureen Leonard of Plymouth, son William F. Leonard and his wife Mary Lou of Plymouth, son Robert Leonard of Jupiter, FL, and daughter-in-law Mary Leonard. She also leaves her loving granddaughters and their husbands: Margaret and Jacob Blakley of Westford, MA and Katelynn Leonard and James Wallace of San Diego, CA.
Liberta was born in Somerville the daughter of William and Janet (Bacci) Piacentini, and sister of the late Violet Piacentini and Guido Piacentini. She graduated from Somerville High School. She worked as a Chef at the Delta Upsilon Fraternity at Tufts University retiring in 1995. Liberta enjoyed playing golf and bridge and remained a gourmet cook right up to her passing.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte 3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Wednesday February 19 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish on Thursday February 20 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the Manomet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Liberta’s memory may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital Memorial and Honor Program F. 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
