EAST BROOKFIELD: Dianne L. (Collette) Hatt 74 of Lakeview Ave., died Saturday, Feb. 15 in Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge after a brief illness.
She leaves her husband of 48 years, Charles E. Hatt, Sr., her son Bradley J. Hatt and his wife Carolyn of Garnet Valley, Pa., three daughters Laureen (Jerome)Sasseville and her husband Mark of Spencer, Traci L. Woodward and Jennifer Hatt both of E.Brookfield, her brother Paul Collette and his wife Sharon of E.Brookfield, two step sons Vern A. Hatt and his wife Peggy of Eastham, and Charles E. Hatt, Jr. of Bondville, VT. She had 13 grandchildren that meant the world to her; Christopher, Connor, and Maggie Hatt of California; Lauren (Sasseville)Birmingham and her husband Timothy Jr., Kaitlyn, Jaclyn, and Ryan Sasseville, Madison Hatt and Sierra Murray, Braedon Hatt and Dana Woodward, Colin and Owen Hatt, and her great-granddaughter Brooke Birmingham, many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sister Carmen Collette, and her first husband, Peter A. Jerome.
Dianne was born in Worcester, the daughter of Emile J. and Sylvia E.
(Menard) Colette. She graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer and was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 10am. in St. John the Baptist Church, No.Brookfield Rd., E.Brookfield. Burial will be private and at a later date in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harrington Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 100 South St.,Southbridge, 01550.
