Gershlak, Harvey I. 84 of Peabody and formerly of Chelsea passed away on February 15, 2014. Beloved husband of Janice (Levine) Gershlak. Devoted father of Mark and Wendy Gershlak, Paul and Nancy Gershlak and Laura and Steve Carreiro. Loving son of the late Julius and Sarah Gershlak. Dear brother of Allen and Bari Gershlak. Dear brother inlaw of Herb and Arine Levine. Loving grandpa of Joshua, Stephen, Adam, Jeffrey and Rachel. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Cary Sq., Chelsea on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Sharon. Memorial observance will be held immediately following the interment until 8:00 PM at the home of Paul and Nancy Gershlak, Wednesday and Thursday 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the home of Mark and Wendy Gershlak and Friday 12:00 PM -3:00 PM at Harvey’s late residence.
