Marie (Richie) Whitaker, 89, passed February 15 ,2014. She was a native of Dwarf, Kentucky and a member of Dover Chapel Baptist Church, and retired from Olin Chemical Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Mack S. Whitaker.
She is survived by her children Sanford Whitaker (Vaye), Greg Whitaker, Sandra Brooks (Ronnie) and Richard K. Whitaker (Ruth); eight Grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren; sisters Ann Reedy and Janice Jones.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Charlestown Cemetery Indiana.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
