WEST SPRINGFIELD – Geraldine B. “Gerry” (Lancieri) Farrell, 83, of West Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Friday, February 14, 2014. She passed into Eternal Life at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 24, 1930, a beloved daughter of the late Frank and Rosaria (Tucci) Lancieri. She was raised in Brooklyn, attended local schools and lived in the city for many years. As a military wife, she moved with her late husband, Joseph, to many of his duty assignments. She lived in Reno, Nevada before relocating to West Springfield around 2010. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Joseph A. Farrell who was Called Home on April 29, 2000. She leaves her loving children, Leslie Farrell of California, Kim Breault and her husband, Mike, of Granby, MA and Scott Farrell of Nevada; and her two cherished grandchildren, Adrian Farrell and Natalie Farrell, both of Colorado.
