Thomas J. Lehane, 57, of Medway died February 14 at his home; he was the husband of Sarah (Davenport) Lehane.
Born in Boston, January 7, 1957, the son of the late Michael and Anne (Folan) Lehane he was raised in Dorchester he had lived in Medway since 2000.Mr. Lehane had worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Corrections for 30 years retiring as a Captain.
He was a member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks.
He was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and an avid fan of the Boston Bruins, Bobby Orr was his favorite.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Jennifer Sanderson of Milford, Richard Sanderson of Millville and Joshua Sanderson of Whitinsville.
He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Lehane and his wife Beth of Bridgewater, Maureen Welch and her husband Paul of Plymouth, Gerard Lehane of New York and Dennis Lehane and his wife Angela of Dorchester.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Maverick D. Sanderson and Jacob Hasley.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 19 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-6 p,m.
