Obituary

NATICK: Euple Ada (Owens) Galbraith, 101, died peacefully and in comfort on February 11, 2014 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing and Rehab Center following a period of declining health.
She was born in Fredericktown, MO on August 18, 1912 the daughter of the late Luther David Owens and Margaret Emma (Ross) Owens.
Euple is survived by her devoted children Eleanor G. Peterson of Jupiter, FL; Douglas N. Galbraith and his wife Janine of Hudson and Ruth G. Cyphers and her husband James of Holliston. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Robert Millar Galbraith who died in 1966 and mother of the late Elaine Galbraith.
Euple has been a resident of Natick for many years and in Wellesley for over 30 years. She spent her earlier years in Blue Hill, Maine and with her siblings graduated from the George Stevens Academy in Maine. She loved knitting and reading. Her fondest memories were spent with her family and friends who were the most important part of her life. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always delighted in being around them. She will be greatly missed by all the lives that she touched in her 101 years.
At the request of her family, private graveside services will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley.
