Richard A. Lang, 58, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at his home. He was the father of John P. Lang of Scituate and Tiffany D. Jones of Hope.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of John L. Lang of Coventry and the late Elsie (Ford) Lang. He had lived in Coventry until moving to Scituate in 1979.
He was the owner of Famous Pizza, Famous Creamery and Bentley’s Tavern. He was the former owner of the Foster Tavern. He was a member of the Safari Club, Cranston Fish and Game and the Swarovski Crystal Society.
He is also survived by his granddaughter, Aaliyah, and his brothers, James Lang of North Kingstown and Robert Lang of Coventry.
Visitation Wednesday, February 19, 2014, 4-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Funeral Private.
