GEORGE JOHN ASSEFF, 92, passed away on February 13, 2014.
He was a retired employee of the Corps of Engineers, a member of the CBI Derby City Basha, a member of St. Michael Eastern Orthodox Church, and an Air Force veteran of WW II and Korean Wars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Asseff and son-in-law, Doug Wilkins.
Survivors include his daughters, Carolyn Wilkins and Martha Cormney (Earl); granddaughters, Heather and Lisa Wilkins; great grandson, Connor Wilkins; and his brother, James Asseff (Martha).
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Eastern Orthodox Church, 3026 Hikes Lane at Furman Blvd. with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 – 8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road.
In lieu of flowers, family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus or his Church.
