Irene J. Kupis died February 12, 2014 at the Oxford Manor in Haverhill, Mass. She was born in Chelsea, Mass on August 21, 1918, the daughter of Joseph and Beatrice Szmyt. While living in Andover, Mass. She was employed as a book keeper for Reichhold Chemical Company for 25 years. After retirement she moved to Hampstead, NH and enjoyed many years of travelling, camping,gardening, and sewing.
She was predeceased by her husband Zygmond in 1991. Members of her family include a son, Donald Kupis and his wife Elaine, a daughter, Elizabeth Slager and her husband Bob, another daughter Carol Wilcox and her husband Fred. She also has 6 grandchildren and 6 great grand children and many nieces and nephews.
A Liturgy of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Emerson Ave.,Hampstead, NH on Tuesday February 18th at 11:00AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charities of one's choice.
