METHUEN – Sr. Lucille Lagassie, 82 died Tuesday February 11, 2014 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Born in Caribou, ME she was the daughter Patrick and Jeannette (Gauvin) Lagassie. Sr. Lucille entered the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary July 26, 1950 and pronounced her vows February 2, 1953 taking her religious name, Sr. M. Jeanne Therese. She was an elementary school teacher in Maine and Massachusetts grades k-6.
Sr. Lucille is survived by her brothers Donald and John Lagassie and was predeceased by her sister, Sr. Mary-Ann Lagassie of the Presentation of Mary.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Retirement Fund of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. with a wake service from 4:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. at the Saint Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary 209 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844.
