Manchester– Robert L. Ouellette, 75, died February 8, 2014 at Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Greenville, on April 8, 1938 the son of Ernest and Cecile (Paul) Ouellette.
He was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
He served his country in the U. S. Navy, the Army Reserves and also in the Navy Reserves.
Prior to his retirement he was a youth counselor at YDC in Manchester. He also taught at Westside Catholic in the 1970’s and 1980’s. When his children were young he was a scout leader for St. Augustin Parish.
Family members include his wife of 55 years, Patricia (Norwood) Ouellette of Manchester, children, Robert L. Ouellette and his wife, Stephanie of Pasadena, MD., Steven Ouellette and his wife, Ellen of Manchester, Michelle Ouellette of Conway, Richard L. Ouellette of Manchester, 9 grandchildren, Matthew, Amy, Tabitha, Jason, Nicole, Jennifer, William, Elizabeth, Stavros, 7 great grandchildren, Jalison, Christian, Kyra, Olivia, Gianna, Caroline, Liam, and one sister, Florence Lacroix of Greenville.
Calling hours will be on Monday February 17, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM February 18, 2014 in Sacred Heart Church, South Main St.
Graveside committal services with military honors will be held in NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen in the spring.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Breath NH, 145 Hollis St., Unit C, Manchester, NH 03101.
