Ricky Lynn Worsham of Danville, NH passed away on February 7 after a recent period of declining health. He was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on November 4, 1955. He graduated from La Puente High School in California. He worked for Crippens Ambulance Service in Covina, California before starting his career as a medical transportation specialist. Rick began working for AMI diagnostic imagining of southern California before relocating to Derry, NH in 1983 where he worked for Alliance Imaging until 2002. He was employed as a lumber handler for Abenaki Timber Corp. from 2002 until 2008. Rick was an avid fan of New England sports and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and cooking. His favorite past time was coaching and watching his children participate in sports. Rick will forever be remembered for his patience, his sense of humor, and his deep compassion for others.
Rick is predeceased by his son Corey in 2006. He is survived by his three children, Dawn Segura of California, Derek and Ashlee Worsham of Chester, NH, and his granddaughter Destiny. In addition, he is also survived by the mother of his children, Sharon, who he was married to for 25 years. Rick also leaves behind his father and step-mother, Howard and Dorothy, of Oklahoma, brother Terry of Oklahoma, sister Sherry of Washington, as well as nieces, step-siblings, and other family members.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, February 13th, from 4pm-7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A memorial service followed at 7pm in the funeral home. Rick will be buried with his son at Great Hill Cemetery, Chester in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to R. Worsham at P.O. Box 55, Chester, NH 03036.
