Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Gosselin, 88, of Manchester, died February 5, 2014 at the Elliot Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Manchester on May 1, 1925, the daughter of Leo P. and Mary (Connell) Pepino and graduated from Manchester Central High School.
Prior to her recent retirement, Betty had owned and operated Betty’s Beauty Salon in Manchester for many years.
A devoted Catholic, she spent much time praying at the Monastery of the Precious Blood and will be remembered as a loving and caring aunt who devoted her life to her faith and family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Romeo Gosselin in 2008 and her loving brother Leo Pepino Jr in 2012.
Family members who will sorely miss her presence include her brothers-in-law, Maurice and Louis Gosselin; her sisters-in-law Juliette Gosselin Quilter, Beatrice and Pandora Gosselin; her nephews Leo Pepino III of Goffstown, Bruce Gosselin, Thomas Gosselin of Worcester, Mass., nieces Roberta Gosselin Griffin, Maria Gosselin Plumpton and Joanne Gosselin Russo of Duxbury, Mass. and several cousins.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in St. Pius X Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
