Aurelia M. Adrey (97) , DOB 1-14-1917 Eastport Maine passed away at home on Feb. 04, 2014.
Aurelia died at home of long term cancer which she opted to treat naturally, cared for by her daughter Jessica Barbara Simpson and Elizabeth Klein whom she considered a daughter and with help in the last days of her life from St. Josephs Hospice of Milford, N.H..
Daughter of Edgar Ohmeis Sr. and Mary Phelps of Eastport Me. Aurelia lost her Mother to the flu epidemic of 1918 and was adopted by her maternal Aunt, Aurelia Phelps and husband Hector Palmerton of Seattle Washington, where she spent her youth.
She is survived by: A daughter Jessica Barbara Simpson of Wilton, N.H. with whom she shared a home for the past 14 years and a son Jerry G. Adrey of Shirley, Ma.
She is survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a niece Mary Ohmeis Reynolds and her children and grandchildren of Eastport Maine.. She is also survived by one son in law, Thomas Warren of Haverhill, Ma.
Pre-deceased by her husband, George P. Adrey of lawrence,Ma. in 1987; pre-deceased by two daughters Madonna M. Robinton of Salem,. NH. in 2011;, and Sharon R. Warren of Haverhill Ma. In 2009; Grandchildren Arthur and Paul Flag, a brother, Edgar Ohmeis Jr. of Eastport Maine.

Debra Simpson Beckman of Md. her husband John and their two children;
Luke Simpson, his wife Helen of Salem N.H., two children and two grandchildren;
Mark Simpson, his wife Tina of Manchester N.H. their three children, three grandchildren;
Matthew Simpson, his wife Jodi, their four children Of Wakefield Ma;
Timothy P. Simpson, his wife Sherry of Arlington Texas, his two children;
Michael J.Tomaselli, his wife Wendy of Salem NH, and four children;
Daniel Tomaselli of Salem, NH;
Madonna Tilbe of Hampton NH, her four children;
Her son Jerry's children:Jerry, Kerry, Julie, Shayne, Johnathan and their children .
She is survived by a God daughter: Carol Paul of NH.
Aurelia was well known as a seamstress in Lawrence Ma. for many years working for the Colonial Clothing Co. fitting wedding dresses and for the Empire Fashion Shop.
She then worked for Gillette ( now P&G) in Andover,Ma., as an inspector until her retirement in her seventies.

Their in home care during her last illness and support of her caregivers was very special.
At the request of the deceased:
Aurelia asked that no calling hours or services be held for her at time of death, instead requesting prayer be offered for her in each persons own time and place. She planned for her cremation and scattering of her ashes. She received anointing of the sick and dying at St. Annes of Fiskdale Shrine in Fiskdale Ma. this past year and she received the last prayers of the Roman Catholic Church in her home.
