Marguerite G. (Kane) Hill 89 of Natick died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at St Patrick Manor in Framingham.
She was the beloved wife of the late Oliver Bryant “O.B.” Hill who died in 2005.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident ,she was the daughter of the late George and Lena (Walker) Kane.
A caring, loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Rite graciously welcomed all who passed through her door, particularly those who made her home their own.
Her favorite moments were those spent with her family, extended family and friends.
Rite enjoyed time spent summering on Lake Winnipesaukee.She and O.B. traveled extensively in their motorhome making many memories and friends along the way. Her gentle nature and kind spirit will be missed by all.
She is survived by six children, Oliver Bryant Hill Jr. and his wife Marianna of Natick, Christopher B Hill and his wife Lizette of Wayland, Jennifer B. Grandoni and her husband Richard of Natick, Andrew W Hill and his wife Cornelia of Framingham, Daria E Tucker and her husband Michael of Wayland, Sheena M Janse and her husband Philip of Charleston, SC, one sister, Nancy Christie and her husband Charles of Dover, brother in-law John Hill and his wife Cynthia of Yarmouthport, sisters in law Janet Kane of Scituate , Barbara Kane of Attleboro, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Donald Kane, Richard Kane, and George Kane.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday at 8:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Linus Church at 9:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
