Husband of the late Rita E. (Macdonald) MacKerer. Loving father of Richard V. MacKerer and Kathleen M. Bambrick, both of Quincy. Grandfather of Patrick and Mark Bambrick.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM.
Burial in St. John Cemetery, New York City on Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. MacKerer was a member of the Knights of Columbus, in North Quincy, the Savin HillYacht Club in Boston, the Neighborhood Club in Quincy and active in his St. Ann Parish as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. He had also been a volunteer for the Chaplain's office at Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston. He worked for 35 years as an instructor for General Motors Training Center in Dedham.
