Lucille D. Lacroix, 88, of Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday February 1, 2014 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin. She was born in St. Lambert, PQ, Canada on February 16, 1925 the daughter of Joseph and Jeanne (Fraser) Dussault and lived in Berlin most of her life. She was a member of the first graduating class of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1943, and was valedictorian of the class. In her younger years, Lucille worked for Attorney Arthur Dupont. She then followed her husband during his military years in Europe and then returned to Berlin. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and was happiest when she was caring for her grandchildren.
Family members include her husband Robert N. Lacroix of Berlin, NH; a daughter Gloria Bennett of Fairview Beach, VA; a son Marc Lacroix of Concord, NH; grandchildren Matthew Lacroix of Portland, ME and Michelle Adams of Concord, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Huguette Pinette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 6, 2014 at 1 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Thursday morning from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Senior Meals Center, 611 Sullivan St,. Berlin, NH, 03570 or to the Holiday Center, 27 Green Square, Berlin, NH, 03570.
