Joy Ann Dall Lane, 77, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, February 3, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery.
Ms. Lane was born April 27, 1936, in Marion, Ohio, to the late George Kay & Myrtle Jane Joy Dall. While living in Cleveland, she worked as a bartender and a model having appeared in Glamour magazine. Ms. Lane was a real estate agent and worked as a make-up artist. She was a self-employed advertising representative, an avid lover of books and wisdom, and a passionate cook. Ms. Lane attended the Church of the Nazarene. She formerly lived in Florida and returned to Fitzgerald in 1996, having spent several happy years here as a child.
She is survived by her two sons: Robert & Marla Griffin of St. Louis, Missouri and Joshua Griffin of Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren: Rilke Griffin, Azriel Griffin, and Anthony Griffin; siblings and their spouses: Sandra & William Schofield of Bellevue, Nebraska, Larry & Phyllis Dall of Marion, Ohio, Doris & Barry Hill of Haines City, Florida, and Richard & Lulu Dall of Marion, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Carol Bayles, Nancy Fix, George Edward Dall, and Ronald Wayne Dall.
