LACONIA - Linda Leach Wagner, 58, of 147 Pleasant Street, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Friday, January 31, 2014.
Linda was born January 18, 1956 in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of Eugene Sr. and Susan (Spearin) Leach. She came to Gilford in 1964 from North River, NY. While attending Laconia High School she was very active in sports and head majorette for the marching band that went to Ireland. After graduation she enlisted in the US Navy which she served in for three years. She then received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
A former student of Elaine Quinn, she loved dancing, music and gardening. Linda was also a member of the D.A.R. through Mark Leach. Linda worked for several years for Fratello’s Restaurant in Laconia, UPS in Maine and most recently 10 years for New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Laconia.
Survivors include her mother, Susan Leach of Gilford, her two sisters; Sharon Siers and her husband Gary of Post Falls, Idaho and Lisa Mowery and her husband Scott of Laconia, two brothers; Eugene W. Leach Jr. of Gilford and Ryan P. Leach and his wife Kathryn of Park City, Utah, nieces Kara and Stefanie Siers, Sharon L. Freeman and Kaitlyn Mowery and nephews Kurt Leach and Casey Siers.
She was predeceased by her father, Eugene W. Leach Sr.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
Burial will be private.
