Obituary

Daniel Tassinari, of Plymouth, died suddenly on January 30th at Beth Israel Plymouth at the age of 78. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary (Price) of Plymouth and his daughters Sherrie Bassignani of Carver and Trisha Thompson of Sandwich. He also leaves his stepchildren Todd Moore, Craig Moore, Cathy Parmenter and Ryan Moore, his sister Delores Rooney of Dedham, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and his beloved dog “Skippy”.
Daniel was born and raised in Plymouth and served in the U.S Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 188 in Sandwich and the Moose Lodge in Manomet. Daniel enjoyed boating, fishing, carving and building little boats, gardening, loved animals and especially spending time with his family.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Thursday, February 6th from 3 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 7th at 10 AM followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the MSPCA-AHES, 350 S. Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
