Constance C. Roy 62, formerly of Lincoln St., died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Center. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Edgar and Irene (Lamontagne) Boisclair. Connie worked as a rating specialist for Amica Insurance for the last twelve years, and was a shipping clerk for CD Burns for twenty years. She enjoyed bingo, going to the casinos, watching her soap operas, and traveling to New Hampshire. She will be sadly missed by her cats Taz and Mittens and her dog Hunter.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Erika Mackenzie and her husband Gary of Smithfield, son, Ronald Roy Jr. and his husband Keith Kowis of Plymouth, MA, a sister, Helene Richards and her husband David of Woonsocket, and her godchild, Christine Richards of Woonsocket.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home , 463 South Main St., Woonsocket , RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa’s Church, Rathbun St. Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday, 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904-9826 in her memory would be appreciated.
