Senja M. Martyn, age 90, of Woburn formerly of Medford, passed away October 13th, following a short illness. Born in Finland she was the daughter of the late Wilhamina and Adiel Harju. Mrs. Martyn worked for many years as a houskeeper for the Lawrence Memorial Hospital´s School of Nursing in Medford.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Fletcher and her husband Jim, of Woburn. She is also survived by her loving grandson James Fletcher Jr. and is further survived by her sister Helen Fournier and her husband Bertrand of Yarmouth Port. Mrs. Martyn is preceded in death by her sister Sylvia Hart, brothers; Weikko, Neillo and Herbert Harju.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Monday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook cemetery, Woburn.
