Obituary

Shirley Frances (Gamache) Gill, 86, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Hathorne Hill. She was the beloved wife of the late Vitaly Gill.
Born in Danvers on September 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Ernestine A. (Ouimet) Gamache. She was raised and educated in Danvers. Shirley was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Danvers. She had been employed at Sylvania for 20 years prior to retiring and was awarded the Victory Shift. She also worked for Brown’s Kitchen and Bath and Overhead Door Company. She was a member of the Polish Club. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and her camp in Limerick, Maine.
She is survived by her sister, Alice Bezuka of Danvers, sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Phyllis Gamache, many nieces and nephews and several Godchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Henry, Joseph, Francis, Arthur and Raymond Gamache and her sisters, Jeannette Young, Rita LaBrie, Doris LaChance and Marie "Winkie" Gamache St. Pierre.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, February 3, 2014 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2-5PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Shirley’s name to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA, 01923.
