Theresa (Soldano) DiNapoli of Medford died Tuesday in the Life Care Center of Stoneham. Raised in East Boston she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Angelina Soldano. After marrying she moved to Medford where she lived for the past 72 years.
Theresa was the beloved wife of the late George DiNapoli and devoted mother of Arthur DiNapoli and his wife Rosalie of Wakefield, Richard DiNapoli and his wife Diane of Stoneham. She was the loving grandmother of Gary DiNapoli and his wife Jana, Troy DiNapoli, Carla Mattuchio and her husband Stephen, Michael DiGiorgio and his wife Jill, Kevin DiNapoli and his wife Karen, all of Reading, Paul DiNapoli and his wife Christa of Northville, MI. Theresa was the loving great-grandmother of Alex, Katrina, Nicholas, Taylor, Adam, Cathryn, Ryan, Gabrielle, Kevin, Benjamin, and Luke DiNapoli, Jordan and Logan Mattuchio, Cameron and William DiGiorgio, and sister of Frank Soldano of Quincy, and the late Rose Pennelli.
A funeral service will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, February 1 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4 through 7pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
