DUDLEY- Anne B. (Dalterio) Russell, 93, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 after an extended period of declining health. She would have turned 94 on March 12th .
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Marshall J. Russell; a daughter, Lila A. and her husband Randall Russell; a sister, Viola “Kay” Lukowski and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Cichon and by 7 brothers, Frank, Joseph, William, Anthony, Salvatore, Louis and Dominic.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Michael and Lucia (Scariglia) Dalterio.
Anne and Marshall spent the first few years of their married life in Oxford before moving to Webster and then Dudley where their home was the gathering place for many get togethers for her large family.
Anne’s loving and caring nature and great sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew her. She was an adored daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt who was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and those whose lives she touched.
The family would like to thank the staff of both Tri-Valley Elder Care and of Overlook Hospice in Charlton for their care and support during this difficult time.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 1, in Saint Roch Cemetery, Oxford. A calling period will be held Saturday, February 1, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
