FIORE, IRENE "RENA" of Dorchester Jan 24, 2014 at the age of 89 after a long battle with cancer. Born in the North End, She moved to Roxbury where she lived for over 50 years before moving to South Boston & Dorchester. Dedicated employee of the Raytheon Corporation for 44 years. Daughter of the late Charles and Adelina (Ragno) Fiore. Sister of the late Emanuela "Minnie" Regan. Gaetano, Umberto, Charles, George Fiore & Elena Gillis. Survived by her loving niece and caretaker Barbara Gillis of Dorchester as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester St, South Boston Thursday morning from 9-10:30 A.M.. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church at 11 A.M. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Rena traveled extensively throughout her life, going to Italy 47 times. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of The North End.
