Julia Jean (Helvie) Wilson
July 6, 1916 to Jan. 26, 2014

Julia "Jean" (Helvie) Wilson, 97, of Anderson died peacefully January 26, 2014 at Keystone Woods.

She was born July 6, 1916 in Anderson to William H. and Laura (Tanner) Helvie.

She retired from Sears after 21 years.

She was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church in Pendleton and president of American Business Women's Association. She played the organ and sang in the choir.

She is survived by her son, Jerry (Sue) Wilson of Indianapolis and her daughter, Janice Ryan (companion Paul Price) of Anderson; best friends, Sheba her dog and Precious her cat; four grandchildren, Scott (Kara) Crisler; Andy (Tina) Crisler; Greg (Kim) Wilson and Julie Mosier; eight great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Gerald "Pete" Wilson, her parents, brother, Jack Wilson and sister Emily VanBuskirk.

Service will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
