Mary A. (Simelevich) Lapinskas, 94, a resident of Haverhill, MA, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014, at the Prescott House Nursing home in North Andover, MA.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Mary was educated in the Lawrence Schools and went on to graduate from the Bon Secours Nursing program. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Clover Hill Hospital, and then went on to work at the Methuen House Nursing Home for many years. Mary was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed her grandchildren.
The widow of John P. Lapinskas, members of Mary's family include: daughters: Alvira Lapinskas of Bradford, MA, as well as Joan M. Garvey and her husband John P. Garvey also of Bradford, MA, three grandchildren: John Garvey of Atkinson, NH, Jeffrey Garvey of Bradford, MA, and Jamie Garvey of North Andover, MA. she is also survived by 2 nephews and 1 niece.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Church, 196 Main St., North Andover, MA.
