HALLORAN, Atty. Philip W. of Winthrop, January 25, 2014. He was 81. He was the beloved husband of the late Roberta H. (Fulton) Halloran. Devoted father of Leslie H. Florio and her husband Matthew of Winthrop. Adored grandfather of Piper Florio of Winthrop. Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Fri, January 31, only between the hours of 4-6pm. Relatives and friends are invited. Military Funeral Honors will take place at the funeral home at 5:30pm. Donations in his memory can be made to the Winthrop Public Library 2 Metcalf Sq. Winthrop, MA. 02152. Interment will take place at a later date in the Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham with his wife. Philip was a criminal defense attorney for over 53 years. He was a graduate of Boston Latin and received his law degree from Boston University. He was the co-founder of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at B.U., a member of the Massachusetts Bar Assn. and the Association of Trial Lawyers. He also served in the U. S.
