Stephen J. Kutzy, Sr. age 94, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully January 22, 2014 surrounded by his family at the Golden Living Center- Oak Hill in Middleboro. He was the husband of the late Mildred (Heinz) Kutzy and Joan Traynor.
Stephen was born in New York City and had been a resident of Brockton for 50 years before moving to Middleboro in 2005. During WWII he served in the US Army. He was retired from the Wright Company in Cambridge and Almy’s in Hanover.
Stephen is survived by his three children M. Jane Kutzy of New York City, Stephen J. Kutzy, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Pristina, Kosovo and Harry J. Kutzy and his wife Cheryl of Middleboro. He was the grandfather of Noah, Lucas, Jacob, Deanna and Leah Kutzy and leaves a great granddaughter Marlo.
Private services were held in the Conley Funeral Home, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
