Timothy F. Kane of Delray Beach FL, formerly of Falmouth and Abington, died unexpectedly in his Florida home on January 12, 2014. He was 56 years old. Tim grew up in Abington, then was a long-time resident of Falmouth. He graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School, attended St. Leo’s College in Florida (mostly so he could golf year round), then graduated from Stonehill College.
Tim was the son of the late Kenneth and Margaret Kane, the brother of the late David Kane. He leaves behind his sister Kathleen Norton and her husband Richard of Plymouth, his sister Paula Norton and her husband Jack of Easton, his nieces Elizabeth Woods of Scituate, Christine Norton of Concord NH and Jacqueline Fanning of Hingham, his great nieces Meghan and Anna Woods and great nephew Henry Fanning.
Tim approached life with gusto and joie de vivre. He was an avid golfer. He loved to fish, to play the piano, to walk a dog – any dog- and to spend time with his friends. Tim had a quick smile and a big heart. He was the ultimate people person. Most of all, he loved to laugh.
He will be missed.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 4-8 pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 481 Quaker Road, N. Falmouth, at 10 am. Burial will be private at a later date.
