Tony Owen Tucker, 56, of Tifton died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Steve Luke will officiate with burial to follow at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014, at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens in Moultrie. Caleb Boyd, Mark Erskine, Chad Erskine, Joey Selph and Jeff Schmandt will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Tucker was born on November 6, 1957 in Grady County and was the son of Billie Pate Tucker of Moultrie and the late Owen Titus Tucker. He was a supervisor in the tool and die department at Master Craft in Tifton and he was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Galinda Sue Erskine Tucker of Tifton; one son, Austin Owen Tucker of Tifton; one daughter, Brandi Shalayne Tucker of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Darrell Graham of Moultrie; one sister, Connie Gay of Thomasville; and one granddaughter, Autumn Karalee Wood.
