Richard L. Libby, age 22 of Natick, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick.
He was the beloved son of Scott A. and Karen L. (Pratt) Libby of Natick.
A lifelong resident of Natick, he attended the Natick School system and graduated from Natick High School in 2009 where he was a member of the football and swim team.
Rick enjoyed summers in Maine with his family, was a Denver Broncos football fan and had a love for penguins. He loved his family dearly and was always so happy to work as a carpenter’s helper for his Dad and play with his nephew, Rylan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Mia Andrade and three brothers, Timothy S. Libby and his wife, Lisa, Keith T. Libby and his girlfriend Diane LaTouf, Jeffrey C. Libby and his girlfriend Colleen Bayley, his grandparents Thomas and Janet Pratt and Barbara Libby, all of Natick. He was also the grandson of the late Leland Libby. In addition to a very large extended family, he leaves behind his nephews Rylan and Camden and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service held on Monday, January 27, at 11:00 A.M. in the First Congregational Church of Natick.
Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common are Sunday, January 26, from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M.
