Obituary

Scott A. Lemay age 27, of Salem, NH, died unexpectedly Thursday in Salem, NH

He was born in Lowell, MA, grew up and was a lifelong resident of Salem. He graduated from Salem High School in 2005, where he was an excellent student, and a star varsity hockey player, and was named NH Home Town Hero, and was affiliated with Salem’s state championship team for the 2003-2004 season.

Scott worked for Smallwood Landscaping in Salem, NH, and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. He enjoyed snowboarding, corn hole, and was an avid New England sports fan, especially the Boston Bruins.

He is survived by his mother: Tammy and her husband Mark Murphy of Salem, NH

Father: Scott R. and his wife Pam Lemay of Salem, NH

Sister: Katie Murphy of Salem and a Brother Christopher Lemay of Salem

Girlfriend Christina Schaible and her children Arie and Gabe of Salem, NH

Paternal Grandparents: Robert and Mary Lemay of Dracut, MA

Maternal Grandfather: Thomas Prepelka of Lowell, MA

Step Grandparents: Jeannine Murphy, and Rudolphe and Betty Moore of Salem, NH

Several Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 27th at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph church, Salem, NH. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be Sunday, Jan. 26th from 2-6 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
