Linden D. Hill, 82, went home to his Lord, Wednesday January 22, 2014 at his residence.
Linden was born in Logansport, KY to Luther Davis & Bessie Jewell (Gidcumb) Hill.
He was retired from General Electric in the Maintenance Dept. and was a Korean War Army Veteran.
Linden was a longtime member of the Shively Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, his loving wife of 56 years, Vondalene (Flener) Hill; 2 Daughters: Linda Darnell Jewell and
Sharon Elaine McCord; and a half brother.
Survivors include his children: David Hill (Linda), Patricia Jean Mayfield (James), Joyce Fay Taylor; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 3 - 8 PM Saturday and 1 - 8 PM Sunday
