Brockton – Catherine Marie (Sprunk) O’Hearn passed away Tuesday January 21 in her 89th year. She was the wife of the late John Henry O’Hearn.
Born in Boston June 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Wendall and Mary Sprunk.
Catherine was also lovingly known as Kay, Mom, Nana and Nana O and her favorite hobby had been decorating her home for the holidays, meant for all to enjoy. Her passion in life was her devotion to her large family.
She is survived by her loving family; John H. O’Hearn III of Norton, Nancy & Mel Chatsko of Whitman, Judy & Jim Conery of Mashpee, Kathy Mather of Brockton, Barbara & Donnie Ethier of Norton, Midge Tasney & Ren Cataldo of Plymouth, Jim & Cathy O’ Hearn of Brockton and Sandy & Steve Logan of Plymouth. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Her visiting hours will be held Monday January 27 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
