Michael J. Arnott of North Truro died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was 47.
Born in Hyannis, he was the son of Charles R. and Beverly (Thompson) Arnott. Michael struggled with health problem all of his life, but did so without complaint.
Educated in Provincetown schools, Michael liked all types of music and enjoyed watching sports, especially Boston sports teams. In spite of his illness, he would go out for a walk every day when he was able to do so. He would take great pleasure in meeting and greeting his many friends on these walks.
In addition to his parents, his sister Lori Arnott, her partner Mark Dalomba, his nephew Christian Costa, and his ‘special aunt and uncle’, Bunny and Dave Travis of Truro survive him. Cousins Jeffrey Perry of Truro, Russell and Lisa Zawaduk of Truro, Lee and Sharon Zawaduk of Eastham, and Nancy Salvador of Provincetown also survive him. Additionally, he leaves his great aunt and uncle, Carmen and John North of Arkansas.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 28th at St Peter the Apostle Church, Prince St, Provincetown. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
