Gilford-----Nancy J. Tkach, 70, of 9 Jay Drive, died peacefully at her son’s home in New Hampton on Monday, January 20, 2014 with her family by her side.
Mrs. Tkach was born May 22, 1943 in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of Raymond and Lillian (Roth) Wirth. She resided in Methuen, Mass. and graduated from Methuen High School in 1961 and from the University of New Hampshire in 1965. She resided in Enfield, N.H. for a several years before moving to Gilford in 1972.
Mrs. Tkach had been employed as a medical technologist for New England Clinical Labs for twenty years and was a lab technician for the State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, retiring in 2005.
Mrs. Tkach is survived by two sons, Bret A. Tkach and his wife, Kate, of New Hampton, N.H. and Chris Tkach and his wife, Grace, of Charlestown, Mass. and a brother, Peter Wirth, and his wife, Linda, of Hebron, N.H. She was predeceased by her husband, A. Bert Tkach, in 2007 and by her parents.
There will be no calling hours.
Private Funeral Service will be held.
