Charles E. “Chuck” Tinkham, 67, of Derry, NH passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a brief illness. Charles was born in Derry on September 8, 1946 to Frank and Mary (Novak) Tinkham. Beloved husband to Faye (Emerson) Tinkham with whom he shared a 45 year marriage. Charles was a Master Electrician and Owner of Chuck’s Electrical Service in Derry for over 40 years.
Besides his wife, he also leaves his four children: two daughters, Lisa Robert and her husband Richard of Hudson, NH and Lori Rose and her husband Dale Hardy of El Segundo, CA; two sons, Charles Tinkham and Robbie Tinkham, both of Derry, his cherished grandsons, Joshua Robert, Matthew Robert and Kevin Hardy. Charles will be missed dearly by all. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at Catholic Medical Center for the excellent care that was given to Charles.
Calling hours were held on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Funeral service began at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Following cremation, burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charles to the Jimmy Fund, C/O Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
