CHELSEA – Rose E. (Palermo) Lindholm, 89, died Monday, January 20, 2014 in Lanessa Extended Care, Webster, surrounded by her family. Her husband of 20 years, Arthur W. Lindholm, died in 1966.
She had 4 children, including a son, Robert P. Lindholm and a daughter, Karen A. Christie Bartholomew and her husband Paul Bartholomew; 7 grandchildren, including Robin Lush and her husband Paul; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur C. Lindholm in 2003, by a sister and by 3 brothers.
She was born in the family home in Chelsea, the youngest child of Ignazio and Giovanna (Spinelli) Palermo and lived there all her life, moving to Webster last year.
Mrs. Lindholm was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and completing crossword puzzles.
A private ceremony will be held at a later time. Donations in her name may be made to Lanessa Extended Care Patient Activities Fund, 751 School Street, Webster, MA 01570. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
