Linda D. Frost
of Westford, formerly Tewksbury
WESTFORD: Linda D. (Patterson) Frost, age 64, of Westford, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital on Sunday, January 19, 2014, following a brief illness.
She was the beloved wife of Richard H. Frost with whom she celebrated 39th wedding anniversary on May 9th and the late Paul G. Pearson.
Born in Lowell on September 30, 1949, she was the daughter of Mildred (Ward) Patterson, who survives her, of Tewksbury and the late Herbert L. Patterson.
Linda was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School. Following high school, she attended secretarial school in Lowell.
She enjoyed many activities including restoring and refinishing antique furniture, gardening, reading and traveling to Italy and Florida.
According to her family, Linda was a true animal lover. She treasured visiting zoos, animal sanctuaries, aquariums and truly appreciated wildlife of all kinds.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by six children, Lisa M. Kilcoyne of Tilton, NH, Kevin D. Frost of Lowell, Stephanie A. Frost of Westford, Brian R. Frost and his wife Jennifer of Londonderry, NH, Robin Frost and her husband Paul Whitaker of Sagamore, MA and Dana R. Frost of Petaluma, CA; four grandchildren, Shawna and Hannah Kilcoyne, Brendan Murray and Casey Frost; two sisters, Carol Spence and her husband George of Dracut, Charlene Ryan and her partner Dennis of N. Andover; three brothers, Douglas Patterson and his wife Marianne of Belmont, NH, Dwight Patterson of Winchendon and Timothy Patterson and his wife Peggy of Washington; also many nieces and nephews. Calling hours Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 5-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854 or to the M.S.P.C.A-Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
