THOGODE - David A. Thogode, 48, passed away Saturday morning, January 18, 2014 at his Yulee, FL residence.
He was born October 6, 1965 in Weehawken, NJ and moved to Yulee two years ago from Jacksonville, FL.
He was a member of Yulee Baptist Church. David lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was volunteer firefighter.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Thogode.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Thogode; two sons, Anthony Joseph Thogode and Anthony James Palmatier; three daughters, Ashley Thogode, Amber Palmatier and Hanna Thogode; His mother and step father, Joan and Arthur Spencer; three brothers, Joseph Clark, Jeffery Stefanak and Christopher Thogode; a sister, Cynthia Burrell; five grandchildren, Trinity, Adian, Mason, Aniah and Dakota; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 8, at Yulee Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Sides officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or the American Cancer Society.
