Teresa Lamy “Aunty Tee”, age 92, born in Manchester, NH, lifelong resident of Brockton, died Monday, January 13, 2014, at West Acres Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Lamy) Levesque and also raised by the late Fredrick Levesque. After graduating from St. Patrick High School and the Brockton Secretarial Academy she was employed as Executive Secretary for the George E. Keith Company in Brockton for forty-three years. She was an active member of the Brockton PM Club, and the Y.W.C.A. for many years.
She is survived by her adoptive nieces and nephews, the children of her lifelong close friend, the late Mary Barry Denly: Donna Piscatelli of Boston, Linda O’Malley and her husband John of Brockton, Barry Denly and his wife Catherine of Bridgewater, and Mary Glavin and her husband John of Bridgewater. She is also survived by their children, Dina Piscatelli of Los Angeles, CA, Melissa O’Malley of Brockton, Kerri O’Malley of Sandwich, Michael Denly of Berkley, Tina Denly of Bridgewater, Brendan Glavin and Tyler Glavin of Bridgewater, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She will also be fondly missed by her lifelong friend and advisor Arnold Goralnick and his wife, Roslyn.
Visitation will be at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 9 to 10 am followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West Street, Brockton at 10:30am and burial at Melrose Cemetery.
